THIS IS HOPE: NOT FEELING OUT OF PLACE

I always like to check in with families after they’ve come to their first group. I understand it’s tough to take that step, so I’m interested to see if they felt safe attending and if there is anything we can do to improve their experience. 

This response from a mom of two girls, who had recently lost her husband, struck me. It gets to the core of what we provide through this safe community:  

“They finally didn’t feel out of place.”

They finally didn’t feel out of place 🙂…  

I’m so grateful that we have this amazing place where people can find others who really get it. 

The mom also said the girls felt excited about coming back.
